If that was my field I would get involved as much as I could and try and help the cause.

My field isn’t directly related to helping but the methods of detection i use for space can help in the ways we identify cancerous cells.

The best ways I help are raising money and I have a strong link to doing it as sadly my grandfather passed of cancer so i’m always going to chairty events to help out!

There are many scientists that are working directly or indirectly to help the effort in curing cancer. I used to work in DNA repair which directly impacts cancer research, and everyone works really hard to understand why our cells go wrong sometimes! I reckon in your lifetime most cancers will become treatable and less dangerous as we will have more knowledge about the individuals persons genetic makeup.
