      H2O is the chemical name for water. It is called H2O as it is made up of 2 hydrogen (H) atoms bonded to 1 Oxygen (O) atom.

      Water has special properties that make it unique. In fact, it can naturally occur as a solid, a liquid and a gas. Water is often called the ‘universal solvent’, because many chemicals can dissolve in it. This is why it is so essential for all living things on Earth….you are actually around 70% water!

      Basically, water is the most amazing substance on Earth!!
