• Question: Do you need liquid stuff in your body to keep you alive?

      Yes!
      We need the liquid stuff to move oxygen, food and parts of our immune system around our body (as blood and lymph). We need sweat to keep us cool and urine to take away waste. We need tears to wash our eyes and saliva to help digest our food.

      It’s very important to have water, without it you would not survive. Our body is up to 70% water. Therefore even if you lose a little bit this has a big effect on your body! We have developed thirst to make sure we don’t get too dehydrated.
