  I’ve not heard of this so I had to look it up on the Internet! It seems like the pressure from the suction created by the glass causes the blood vessels to swell and they fill with blood. This causes an inflammatory response and histamines and other chemicals flood the area. It can cause bruising and break your blood vessels.
  
  I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. No-one needs their lips to look like that and it will probably go drastically wrong!
