I think it takes a life time of asking question and doing different experiments to become a truly great scientist. Also, I think that usually great scientists presents a new way of thinking and understanding the world around us, and change the way we see things. This doesn’t happen all that often though.

I think it takes a lifetime to become a great scientist and not everyone manages it. I haven’t.
I’m working hard to become a good scientist, trying to get the best answers in the most honest and open way. Always asking questions and wondering why we and others got the results we did. Then sharing the results and listening to any comments other people (and scientists) have.

We all have great scientists in us, you just need to work for it and one day you’ll get there.
