• Question: is it scary when working and making viruses?

      It isn’t scary to make or work with viruses because we think about what we are going to do really carefully. We have lots of equipment designed to keep us safe and we have lots of training. We are far luckier than the first scientists who worked with viruses who didn’t know what they were working with or have the clever protection we have today, some of them got very sick and a few died.
