• Question: what is the best thing that you do in your typical work day?

      No day is really typical. Usually we are starting one experiment, in the middle of another and finishing a third. Usually whilst working with new students or collaborators from other groups. I guess its a mix of the fun of the challenge of starting something new and having to learn lots of new things to be able to do it properly and the fizzy feeling you get when you first see your results at the end of the experiment.

      I love teaching, if I could inspire just one to keep up science i’d of done my job!
