• Question: why do some people store more memories than other people

      We are still in the process of learning how memory is stored and kept (and sometimes lost).
      It seems that part of it has to do with attention. Some people are just more attentive than others to begin with. So, they actually get a lot more information in to begin with. Otherwise, it seems that some people are genetically more capable of storing memories. However, anyone can increase his or her memory capacity to some extent by paying more attention, focus on actually trying to remember details. And the best thing of all is that the more you remember, the easier it gets to store new memories.
