• Question: why do we need a brain?

      Your brain gets all the signals from different parts of your body (through your nerves) figures out what those signals mean, plans what the best course of action is and then sends out new signals to get you body to do that action.
      Finger in fire (signal: hot, burning) brain figures out cold would be better (signal: move finger & find cold) Finger moves under cold water tap.
